What do Mexican children dream of?
Children share their surprising dreams for the future in digital art project
What were your dreams for the future when you were a child? Perhaps you dreamt of being a famous singer, a dentist or a nurse? Maybe you dreamt of travelling the world! But did you ever dream of a Mexico without corruption? A future with no pollution? Or of a world without violence?
In the ground-breaking project #TweetaDream, the organisation OurFuture.World has asked children and schools all over the globe to share their dreams for the future through art. The initiative aims to inspire young people from all social backgrounds to dream big, chase their passions and unleash their full potential. The art is being uploaded into a digital gallery on Creatubbles, the new social creativity platform for children.
The results from the children of Mexico are sometimes sweet and sometimes surprising. We invite you to explore the #TweetaDream gallery, and help us spread the word so that more children can take part and have a voice.
The #TweetaDream initiative will be presented to the attendees of the UN 70th Anniversary Dinner in San Francisco later this evening.
